Friends, I feel God is telling us He has had enough!!!!
Nothing happens by chance, it’s all part of His plan.
It does not surprise me one bit that churches have been closed at this time of the year. This should be the most holy of holidays and celebrations yet so many churches have drifted from His Word, become consumed with the world, making it all about bunnies and having egg hunts.... ALL LIES!!!!
““No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”
-Matthew 6:24 NKJV
We are serving ourselves when we do this, meeting our wants, not His. The sole focus should be Christ and Christ alone!!! We serve a jealous God and He does not take this lightly.
“You shall not go after other gods, the gods of the peoples who are all around you (for the LORD your God is a jealous God among you), lest the anger of the LORD your God be aroused against you and destroy you from the face of the earth. “You shall not tempt the LORD your God as you tempted Him in Massah. You shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.”
-Deuteronomy 6:14-17 NKJV
It’s time to be the holy people He has called us to be. To be different from the world, set apart.
“Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone,” and “A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.”
-I Peter 2:7-12 NKJV
Church, the word heal is used numerous times in The Bible. So, many examples where God’s people would drift from Him and need reminding of their sins and correcting and then prayers of healing when they return. Many verses similar to these...
“And the LORD will strike Egypt, He will strike and heal it; they will return to the LORD, and He will be entreated by them and heal them.”
-Isaiah 19:22 NKJV
“I said, “ LORD, be merciful to me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You.””
-Psalms 41:4 NKJV
“For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’”
-Matthew 13:15 NKJV
“And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
-James 5:15-16 NKJV
“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
-II Chronicles 7:14 NKJV
““Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.”
-Joel 2:12-13 NKJV
It’s time to humble ourselves, confess our sins, repent, seek forgiveness, fast, return to God by falling on our faces in prayer asking for mercy and healing!!
The time is now!!!
